Former Fox News host Andrea Tantaros has charged in a lawsuit she was sexually harassed by former network chief Roger Ailes and other top executives. Defendants in the lawsuit filed Monday in Manhattan state Supreme Court include William Shine, who was named co-president of Fox News after Ailes resigned because of a sexual-harassment lawsuit filed by another former anchor, Gretchen Carlson. “Fox News masquerades as a defender of traditional family values, but behind the scenes, it operates like a sex-fueled, Playboy Mansion-like cult, steeped in intimidation, indecency and misogyny,” Tantaros charges in the suit. Fox News said Tuesday that it can’t comment on pending litigation. Ailes resigned in July after Carlson said in a lawsuit that she was fired because she refused his sexual advances. He has denied the charges. Tantaros’ complaint says it is not just about Ailes but “it also gives life to the saying that ‘the fish stinks from the head.’ For Ailes did not act alone. He may have been the primary culprit, but his actions were condoned by most senior lieutenants, who engaged in a concerted effort to silence Tantaros by threats, humiliation, and retaliation.” Tantaros’ legal battles with Fox began last winter when the network said she had breached her employment contract by writing a book without getting network clearance.

Sometimes even Barbra Streisand needs a little help from her friends. The 74year-old stage and screen legend decided early on that her 36th studio album would feature Broadway duets. So she called on some of her friends and favorite actors, including Anne Hathaway, Daisy Ridley, Hugh Jackman, Chris Pine and Bradley Cooper, to bring her vision to life. The result, Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway, is a quirky mix of surprising and entertaining collaborations pulled from hit musicals like My Fair Lady and A Chorus Line, as well more obscure productions such as Evening Primrose and Smile. Despite the group effort, the album — out Friday — is still authentically Streisand.
