Kansas man killed in motorcycle wreck

A Kansas man died early Saturday after crashing his motorcycle near Wheeler, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Chadd R. Lowderman, 33, of Ottawa, Kan., was riding west about 12:32 a.m. on Wheeler Road when he failed to round a corner, left the road and hit a tree, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The weather was clear and the road was dry, according to a fatal preliminary crash report from Arkansas State Police. The make and model of the motorcycle wasn’t listed in the report.

Lowderman’s next of kin has been notified, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Wheeler is a unincorporated community in Washington County south of Tontitown.
