UCA men third in Georgia

Central Arkansas’ men’s team finished third Tuesday at the Kennesaw State Pinetree Intercollegiate in Kennesaw, Ga.

The Bears finished with an 881 (295-288-298). Kennesaw State won the tournament with an 862, while Iowa State was second at 875. Jacksonville State was fourth (889), followed by Arkansas State (893).

Arkansas State’s Tanner Napier tied for second in the individual standings with a 213 (73-67-73), finishing four strokes behind Iowa State’s Denzel Ieremia’s 209 (71-65-73). Central Arkansas’ Luis Obiols was eighth with a 219 (76-71-72). UCA’s Lewis George was tied for 10th with a 221 (72-72-77).
