UCA’s Smith receives Southland honor

Central Arkansas’ Ashley Smith was named women’s offensive player of the week by the Southland Conference on Tuesday.

Smith helped the Bears win the Southland Conference title with an assist in a 3-2 victory over Southeastern Louisiana on Friday. She scored two goals in a 3-0 victory over Nicholls State on Sunday.
