UALR defender honored

UALR’s Hali Long was named women’s defensive player of the week by the Sun Belt Conference on Tuesday.

Long playd 172 minutes in a 3-0 victory over Georgia Southern and a 2-0 victory over Troy, helping the Trojans earn the No. 3 seed in the Sun Belt Tournament, which begin Nov. 2 at Foley, Ala.
