The winter blues don’t exist for those who stop by Fayetteville Senior Activity and Wellness Center.

It may be cold outside, but inside the center there is music, dancing and laughter going on. Just like every other time of the year, they are enjoying meeting new friends and lifting their spirits every Friday morning with bands such as Prairie Roads, Tulare Dust and Alive N Kickin’.

Not only does dancing make the seniors happy, it also serves as a great way to exercise. The center holds an evening dance once every month. Staying active through dancing is a great way to have fun instead of the typical dread of working out your body, and it is something that the center’s staff also looks forward to each month.
