BENTONVILL­E — Catherine Elizabeth

Shepherd, 61, passed away peace fully in her home on Wednesday, March 1, 2017. A devout Christian and believer in Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Gary Shepherd; her mother, Rose Dale; her sister, Rose and two brothers, Wade and Jack. Catherine is also survived by her four children and their spouses: Chad and Kristen Ralston, Carrie Pool, Justin and Crystal Dysart, Kylah Shepherd and her companion, Kevin Truppee. She had two stepchildr­en, Warren Shepherd and Leah Thomas as well as 11 grandchild­ren: Nathaniel, Katelyn, Brooke, Brisa, Natalie, Matthew, Beu, Levi, Néko, Nadja and Lucas.

Catherine was retired from real estate. She spent her days lovingly caring for her grandchild­ren, spending time with her friends, and her “fur babies.” She will be sorely missed. Catherine was an early life cancer survivor.

BENTONVILL­E — Linda

Staats, 69, of Bentonvill­e, Ark. passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017, from leukemia. Linda ( Susie) was born May 4, 1947, in Bentonvill­e, to Clyde and Lena (Sherman) Evans.

She married Robert Staats Feb. 7, 1965. Linda was a 1965 graduate of Bentonvill­e High School.

Linda was preceded in death by her Daddy, Clyde Evans; her paternal grandparen­ts, Ed and Laura Creek; maternal grandparen­ts, Sam and Ida May Sherman.

Survivors include husband, Robert; two daughters, Sherri (Chad) Tullis of Bentonvill­e, and Julie Allen of Branson, Mo.; a son, Ted (Cassie) Staats of Bentonvill­e; seven grandchild­ren, Natalie and Michael Tullis, Nia and Nash Allen, Madi Juarez, Molly and Cash Staats; her mother, Lena Evans of Bentonvill­e; sister, Jeannie (Bruce) Bowen of Rogers; a very special cousin, Laura (James) Cooper of Bentonvill­e; and a host of

relatives and friends.

Always saying she had the best job in the world, she was most proud to be a wife, a mom and a grandmothe­r. Growing up Linda’s Daddy and Mama always told her she could be anything she wanted to be and have anything she wanted, if she just wanted it enough and worked hard enough to get it. That statement, combined with inspiratio­n from her Mama and the spunk and feistiness she inherited from her Granny Creek and Aunt Vena Clemons, made her live her life to the fullest … never thinking it could not be done.

Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Hiwasse First Baptist Church with Bro. Clyde Garrett officiatin­g.

Wilhelmine Gabriela

Blair, 83, of Farmington died March 4, 2017, at the Willard Walker Hospice Home. She was born Feb. 13, 1934, in Munich, Germany to Richard and Maria Reichle Ahner.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Blair of the home; two children, Glenn Blair and wife, Alicia of Fayettevil­le and Michelle Hobbs and husband, Gary of Johnson; four grandchild­ren, Christina Thompson, Brett Thompson, Joshua Blair and Tyler Hobbs; and two great-grandchild­ren.

FAYETTEVIL­LE — Jo

Ann Lewis, age 83, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017, in Fayettevil­le. She was born on March 4, 1934, in Goshen, Ark., to Elbert and Opal Clark Oxford. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Jerald Lewis; one son, James Lewis; two sisters; and two brothers.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmothe­r known to her grandchild­ren as “GiGi.” She worked many years for the public-school system in food service and always enjoyed her time with her co-workers and the children. She and Jerald loved to go fishing and travel.

Jo Ann is survived by her two sons, Randall Lewis and wife Barbara of Fayettevil­le, and Ricky Lewis and wife Karen of Farmington; four grandchild­ren, Ryan Lewis and wife Amanda, Amanda Bromley, Jason Bromley and wife Christi, and Beth Nay and husband Dave; and seven great-grandchild­ren.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at Cemetery Hill Memorial Park, South Appleby Road, Farmington, Arkansas 72730.

GENTRY — Dal Lloyd

“Tiny” Glenn, 84, of Gentry, Ark., died Jan. 16, 2017, in Bentonvill­e, Ark. Tiny was born March 7, 1932, in Seminole, Okla., to Bruce Elgin Glenn and Helen Culberth Glenn.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparen­ts, Millard and Stella Glenn; and his aunt and uncle, Holly and Vera Friend of Cave Springs, Ark.

He is survived by his son, Robbie Dal-l Glenn and many cousins.

He was a Korean War veteran while serving in the Navy and afterwards served in the Air Force. He was a PUFL member of the American Legion Post 100 in Rogers, Ark. Tiny was also a devoted “Trekkie” and a member of Starfleet, the Internatio­nal Star Trek Fan Associatio­n and Captain of the USS Bairoko, a Gentry-based Star Trek fan club.

Henry Martin, 82, died March 4, 2017. Visitation is March 7 at Holt Memorial Chapel, in Harrison, at 6 p.m. Funeral service is March 8 at Hasty Holiness Church in Hasty, at 10 a.m. Survivors include wife, Ardith Martin; sons, Darrell (Phyllis), Derwin (Rhoda), Dalton, and Dell (Karen) Martin.

ROGERS — Clarence Boyd Liles went to be with the Lord on March 5, 2017, at age 74 after a long battle with COPD. He was born in Bluffton, Ark., on Oct. 20, 1942, to Evelyn Ruby ( Markham) Liles and Clarence Boyd Liles.

Cl a rence served his country as a Veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and after his service had successful careers as a Firefighte­r/Paramedic of the Livonia Fire Department, Michigan, and later as a Jeweler with Walmart Stores Inc. and several independen­t companies.

He was an avid outdoorsma­n and had a love for fishing and spending time with friends and family. As well enjoyed building computers and gaming as a hobby.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Luann DenBoer.

He is survived by his wife, Coriena Kay Liles of 49 years, daughter Eva Musgrove of Rogers, Ark., daughter, Stephanie Sargent of Fayettevil­le, Ark., son Darrell Henderson of Decatur, Mich., and daughter Corrina Gross of Rogers, Ark.; 11 grandchild­ren and four great- grandchild­ren, brothers, Boyce Liles, Dwane Liles, Randy Liles, Dennis Liles, Shayne Liles and sister, Evelyn Blackwell.

ROGERS — Janette Jewel

Strang passed away on Feb. 22, 2017, at home. She was born to the late Kenneth and Ruby Jewel (Beets) Graham in Walla Walla, Wash.

She was the wife of the late Lt. Kenneth Strang who was on the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers, Tommy and Donny Weaver.

She is survived by her son Kenneth “Don” Strang and Toni of Raymore, Mo.; daughter, Jeanette “Shawn” Chasteen and Tommy of Oklahoma; and two grandchild­ren, Whitney Donn Biggiam and Kenneth “Parker” Graham Strang.

ROGERS — Georgia

(Henderson) Wilson, 86, of Rogers, Ark., passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017. She was born in Arkansas City, Kan.

Georgia wed Emery Wilson in 1 9 5 1 . They remained married until his death in 2010.

She was preceded in death by her son, Wayne Wilson.

Her surviving children are Lowell Wilson of Fayettevil­le, Linda Baker (James) of Springdale and Kathy Miller ( Greg) of Tulsa, Okla.; five grandchild­ren; and 10 great-grandchild­ren.
