Hope offers support

Hope Cancer Resources will be offering the following meetings:

■ Art, Healing and Hope: Collaging Your Story: Hope Cancer Resources partners with The Buddy Project to facilitate a six-week art group for patients with any type of cancer. Members will create a collage of their personal cancer journey. A light meal and all supplies needed for the project will be provided. The group will meet from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. each Thursday from March 16 to April 20 at Hope Cancer Resources.

■ Blood Cancers Support Group: The support group for adult patients, family and friends coping with leukemia, luymphoma, myeloma, MDS and other blood cancers meets from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Hope Cancer Resources.

■ Children’s Lives Include Moments of Bravery: CLIMB is a Children’s Treehouse Foundation family support group that helps children ages 6 to 12 cope with and share feelings about a parent or adult loved one who has cancer. The group will meet from 5:30 to 7 p.m. each Tuesday from April 4 to May 9 at Hope Cancer Resources.

■ Ostomy Support Group: The subject of the discussion this month will be managing ostomy care. There will be a 1 p.m. educationa­l meeting prior to the main meeting at 2 p.m. March 19. Visit nwaostomy. weebly.com.
