BELLA VISTA — Norman Heying passed March 9, at home surrounded by family members. He is remembered by his loving wife, Dorothy Ann; his six children; 14 grandchild­ren; and eight great-grandchild­ren. Funeral services are planned for a later date in Little Turkey, Iowa.

BELLA VISTA — Benjamin “Frank” Franklin Owings, 80, of Bella Vista died Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Circle of Life in Bentonvill­e. He was born April 10, 1936 in Alden, Iowa the son of Lula and Newton Owings.

Frank was a member of First Presbyteri­an Church of Bentonvill­e, a Boy Scout Leader, band booster member, and a licensed realtor. He loved camping and was a member of many campers clubs.

Frank is survived by his wife of 61 years, Shirley Owings of Bella Vista; two sons, Mike Owings and his wife, Melissa, of Fayettevil­le, Mark Owings of Centerton; two daughters, Judy Dunegan and her husband, Mitch, of Lawton, Okla., Jane Birmingham and her husband, Jeff, of Centerton; one brother, Richard Owings of Iowa; two grandchild­ren, Joey Hammer, Kimberly Hammer; one great-grandchild, Scarlett Jones; and many close friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A private family service will be at a later date.

BELLA VISTA — Edgar “Ed” Wolfgram, 80, of Bella Vista, died on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at his home. He was born in Chicago, Ill. on May 5, 1936 to Walter and Eleanor Wolfgram.

He was an engineerin­g manager with Motorola in the Chicago area for 14 years. For 25 years he was a consultant with many chemical formulatio­ns and patents in his name. He enjoyed woodworkin­g, fishing and golf.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Walter Wolfgram; and one granddaugh­ter, Jenny.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Anita; brother, Bob Wolfgram of California; brother, Randy Wolfgram of Florida; sister, Linda Baker of Florida; son, James Wolfgram and wife Laurel of Clearwater, Fla.; daughters, Joanne Cobb and husband Dan of Hayward, Wis., Susan Bailey and husband Matt of Lowell, Ark., Christi Gozdowiak and husband Andy of Greendale, Wis.; seven grandchild­ren; and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark. 72715.

BENTONVILL­E — Amelia Elise Faulk died Friday, March 17, 2017, at home in Bentonvill­e, Ark. She was born April 13, 1990 (Good Friday) in Fayettevil­le, Ark. to Tor and Teresa Faulk.

She was preceded in death by her grandparen­ts, Jerry and Rebecca Faulk. Amelia is survived by her parents; sisters, Olivia and Sophia; brother, Will; grandparen­ts, Richard and Amy Prime and her beloved niece, Kennedy. Other survivors include her aunts and uncles, Beth Faulk, Kurt and Kim Faulk, Philip and Sandra Prime, Mark and Michelle Prime, Jason Prime, and Jeremy & Yolanda Prime; many cousins whom she loved dearly; and her “sisters since childhood”, Alice Havner Kent and Cassie Ledford Howard. Amelia was born with Osteogenes­is Imperfecta, brittle bone disease, making her very fragile. Despite her physical condition, she chose to live her life as independen­tly as she could. She was fearless in her desire to learn about and experience the world with her family & friends. Amelia didn’t worry about what she couldn’t do her focus was on what she could do. She enriched everybody she met with her loving spirit and grit. She enjoyed talking about Jesus, reading with her Grandpa, crafts with Aunt Beth, all food cooked by her Grandma, spending time with her friends, her pets, all culinary adventures & traveling especially to New York City.

Our entire family would like to express our love and profound gratitude to her many caregivers both at home and the Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH). Since birth, Amelia has been cared for & loved by the many profession­als from ACH. Locally, we have been blessed with capable, compassion­ate care from Northwest Arkansas Pediatric Clinic, Mercy Health, & home health caregivers. The impact each of you made on Amelia’s life was extraordin­ary. A special “Thank you” to Pamela Joan Fair Chrisco, for a lifetime of loving care. Amelia loved the Lord, her Church, family and friends. Her journey continues in the arms of the Lord.

A celebratio­n of Amelia’s life will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at 1 p.m., at the First Presbyteri­an Church, 901 N.E. “J” Street, Bentonvill­e, Ark.

To honor Amelia, donations may be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital or Rogers Humane Society.

HUNTSVILLE — Ted Melcher, 75, of Huntsville, died March 18, 2017 at Willard Walker Hospice Home. He was born May 15, 1941 in Chicago, Ill. to Harry David and Alice Leona Goodenow Melcher.

Ted was a machinist for the city of Chicago.

He enjoyed outdoor sports and riding his motorcycle.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Stewart Melcher whom he married March 22, 1958 in Huntsville; two sons, Harry D. Melcher and Donald E. Melcher, both of Fayettevil­le; one daughter, Pamela S. Hermes and husband, Robert of Arlington Heights, Ill.; and two grandchild­ren, Bobby John Melcher and Lisa Marie Muskat.

No services are planned. Cremation arrangemen­ts are by Beard’s Funeral Chapel.
