Lyon College shuts down Ecclesia

The Royals had no answer for Lyon’s eight-run third inning on Tuesday, as Ecclesia fell 13-1.

Ecclesia (21-10) committed six errors and gave up eight hits in the lopsided loss.

Matt Garrison and Stevie Morphew had the only two Royals hits. Garrison added a stolen base and scored the Royals’ only run.

Ecclesia returns to action on Friday at Dallas Christian for a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. The teams will wrap up their three-game series on Saturday.
