BOOK SIGNING

Mosaic Templars Cultural Center, 501 W. Ninth St. in Little Rock, will host a Lunch n’ Learn with Marvin Williams at noon, Friday.

Williams is a home cook who shares his recipes, ideas and exploits in the kitchen on his Facebook page “Marvin Williams’ Cooking Adventures.” Williams recently released a cookbook by the same name. He will discuss his cookbook, provide samples of his food and sign copies of his book, which is available at the museum store.

When he’s not in the kitchen, Williams visits churches, schools and other organizations as a motivational speaker and he is also a singer, songwriter and recording artist who was once known in the Conway School District as the “Silly Song Man,” according to a news release from the cultural center.

The Lunch n’ Learn program is free and open to the public. Take your lunch; soft drinks and water will be provided.
