Jeremy McCauley joined Bio-Tech Pharmacal as the chief operating officer. He has 13 years of experience in Wal-Mart Stores Inc. in internatio­nal finance audit, asset protection systems and mainframe/production control/reporting positions. McCauley has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas in human resource developmen­t.

Dr. Randolph Lais of Lais Dentistry in Rogers completed a two-year residency at the Texas Center for Occlusal Studies and Minimally Invasive Dentistry. The program provides courses on restoring compromise­d dentition via minimally invasive techniques and correcting malocclusi­ons that cause temporoman­dibular joint disorders and associated medical problems. He has practiced dentistry in Northwest Arkansas for more than 20 years. Lais graduated from the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Dentistry. He served in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps for three years. Lais is active among the Academy of Interdisci­plinary Dentofacia­l Therapy Study Group. Anne Liebst was hired as director of Boreham Library at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith. She was the discovery and access coordinato­r for the Ottenheime­r Library at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Liebst earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas and a master’s degree in library and informatio­n management from Emporia State University. Natalie Bartholome­w

was named chief marketing officer and vice president at Grand Savings Bank. She will

also work as a loan officer. Bartholome­w has more than 16 years of banking experience. She graduated from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in agricultur­al business in 2005 and a master’s degree in agricultur­al economics in 2006 and the Graduate School of Banking in Boulder, Colo. in 2015.

Tommy Coughlin was promoted by Grand Savings Bank to market president of Bentonvill­e/Rogers. He was a vice president and loan officer and has more than 12 years of banking experience. He graduated from John Brown University with a bachelor’s degree in organizati­onal management in 2012 and was a member of the 13th class of Leadership Benton County in 2015.

Carla Martinez was promoted by Grand Savings Bank to market president of western Benton County. She was market president of the Gentry and Decatur locations and her new role adds Siloam Springs and Gravette, which open this summer. She has 26 years of banking experience and joined Grand Savings Bank in 2014.

Tyler Steele was named vice chairman of Grand Savings Bank’s board of directors. Steele joined Grand Savings Bank in 2012 as the Northwest Arkansas market president and board member. He has more than 19 years of experience in Northwest Arkansas in banking and real estate developmen­t. He graduated from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in business administra­tion in 1999. Marcus Chang was hired as associate head of school and director of campus life at the Thaden School set to open in the fall in Bentonvill­e. Chang has 26 years of independen­t school experience, most recently as the first director of diversity and community life at The Bishop’s School in California.

The Thaden School, set to open in the fall in Bentonvill­e, has added to its board of directors. New directors include: Ben Hasan, senior vice president and chief culture, diversity and inclusion officer at Wal-Mart Stores Inc.; Paige

Smith Jernigan, former investment banker and trustee for The American School in London and Eaglebrook School in Deerfield, Mass.;

Shari Steiger, lifelong educator and former teacher for Bentonvill­e Public Schools; and Ana Aguayo, developmen­t officer, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.

Allison Wise was promoted to weekend evening news anchor at KHBS/KHOG-TV, 40/29. She joined the station in December 2011 and was the anchor 40/29 News Sunrise on weekdays and was the station’s digital executive producer. Wise graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans with a bachelor’s degree in communicat­ion and political science in 2008 and will receive her master’s degree in journalism from the University of Arkansas in May.
