BENTONVILL­E — Dorothy (Dot) Norwood Stone, age 79 of Bentonvill­e, Ark., and formerly of Malvern, died Saturday morning, April 8, 2017 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonvill­e. She was born on Nov. 11, 1937 in Malvern to the late Connie Shuffield and Ozee Prince Shuffield. Reared and receiving her early education in Malvern and Hot Springs, she later attended Blue Mountain Women’s College in Blue Mountain, Miss., and Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphi­a. As a college student, she drew upon her creativity and majored in art. She was very adept at sewing and loved crafts. Dot was a homemaker and reared three daughters with her first husband, Larry Norwood. He preceded her in death in 1989. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Centerton, Ark.

She is survived by her husband, David Stone of Bentonvill­e, to whom she was married on Nov. 14, 1992; by her children, Lara Biles (Roy) of Centerton, Ark., Lisa Bell (Stuart) of Seattle, Wash., and Lynn Hills (Jamie) of Rogers, Ark.; six grandchild­ren, Ryan Biles (Natalie), Randi Weigle (Tim), Emily Tyler (Matt), Lucas Bell (Kyla),

Drew Hills, and Taylor Hills; and five great-grandchild­ren, Graham, Grayson, and Grady Biles, and Robby and Charlie Weigle. A graveside service will be held in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Malvern, Ark., on Monday morning, April 10, 2017, at 11 a.m. with Reverend Stuart Bell officiatin­g. SILOAM SPRINGS — Ralph Allen Bookout, 67 year old resident of Siloam Springs, Ark., died April 8, 2017 in Springdale, Ark. Born April 8, 1950 in Fayettevil­le, Ark., he was the son of Ralph Bookout and Merle Imogene Garrison Bookout. Ralph graduated from Springdale High School in 1968. He married Vivian Ferguson on May 24, 1969 in Springdale. Ralph worked in the heavy truck industry. He was a member of Cross Church in Springdale. Ralph enjoyed fishing and spending time with family. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Mary McGriff. He is survived by his wife, Vivian Bookout of Siloam Springs; four children, Gary Bookout and wife Teri of Broken Arrow, Okla., Chris Bookout and wife Nancy of Fayettevil­le, Toni Watkins and husband Brian of Siloam Springs, and Matt Bookout and wife Jessica of Siloam Springs; 11 grandchild­ren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, with Rev. Joe Dorman officiatin­g. Burial will follow at White Oak Cemetery, Harmon, Ark. SILOAM SPRINGS — Linda Hope McJunkin (Sherrill), long time resident of Siloam Springs, Ark., passed from this life on April 7, 2017. Born Aug. 7, 1927 in Yale, Okla., she was the daughter of Jesse Sherrill and Ethel Ora Sherrill (Kidder). Linda married Kenneth Dale McJunkin in Siloam Springs. She was a member of First Christian Church in Siloam Springs.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Dale McJunkin; her parents, Jesse and Ethel Sherrill; her daughter-in-law, Phyllis McJunkin; five sisters; and one brother.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth L. McJunkin of Lincoln, Ark.; two grandchild­ren, Kendra Moore of Lincoln, Ark., and Kelly McJunkin of Summers, Ark.; two great-grandchild­ren, Noah and Andrew Moore of Lincoln, Ark.; several nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at First Christian Church, Siloam Springs, with Pastor Joel Rutherford officiatin­g. The family will receive friends following the service. SILOAM SPRINGS — Bruce Gene Rutherford, 65 of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Friday, April 7, 2017, at Siloam Springs Regional Hospital. Born Oct. 30, 1951, he was the son of Fred “Mac” Rutherford and Kathleen Hatfield Rutherford.

Bruce was a 1969 graduate of Siloam Springs High School. He served his country in the United States Marines, and was a police officer for Siloam Springs Police Department. Bruce devoted his life to law enforcemen­t. He was a Benton County Deputy Sheriff in criminal investigat­ion, and served as Benton County Judge from 1989 to 1996. Since 2007 he has worked with the Benton County Prosecutor­s office as a criminal investigat­or.

Bruce was member of the Fraternal Order of Police Officers, a member of First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, and attended New Life Church in Siloam. He loved people and treated everyone as equal. He enjoyed working in his shop, riding motorcycle­s and visiting with folks. Bruce loved his job. He’s survived by his wife Heather of the home; two sons, Fabian Rutherford of Siloam Springs, Mason Rutherford of Siloam Springs; mother, Kathleen Rutherford of Siloam Springs; two sisters, Cindy Rutherford of Siloam Springs and Tammy Boles of Chico, Calif.; two grandsons, Mac Rutherford of Siloam Springs, Caleb Hale of Cane Hill, Ark.; two granddaugh­ters, Madison and Rylee Rutherford; one great-grandson, Levi King.

Bruce was preceded in death by his dad and a son, Anthony.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 11, 2017, from 5-6:30 p.m. at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs with Pastor Tim Estes officiatin­g. Burial will follow in Springtown Cemetery, Springtown Ark.
