Crain Volkswagen now open in Fayetteville

Volkswagen fans in Northwest Arkansas now have another place to shop for a vehicle or some iconic VW merchandise.

Crain VW opened its new location in Fayetteville on April 3, and General Manager James Morgan says business is already off to a good start early on.

We wanted to move to a more centralized location in order to better serve all of Northwest Arkansas. It is a popular brand for college students and the students from out of state who own a Volkswagen now dont have to go very far to service their vehicle or purchase some VW gear.

The modern, state-of-the-art feel to the dealership should attract plenty of attention going forward. Inside, it has charging stations for your phone, tablet or laptop, two rooms of VW clothing and accessories available to buy, complimentary donuts in the mornings and drinks at all times for customers.

There is definitely a wow factor when you first walk in, Morgan said. Everything is vibrant and different colors, and we even offer comfortable loveseats in our offices to make customers feel at home throughout the whole buying process. The building is lit up all the time so customers can feel safe in the parking lot at night

While most people associate VW with the beetle, or Bug, Morgan says the Jetta is the most popular model in this area.

I think the new 7-passenger Atlas SUV that will be here in May will turn a lot of heads, he said. The Golf Alltrack is a 4-wheel motion car that can haul a lot of items for sports and outdoors enthusiasts like bike or kayak racks. One thing about Volkswagen customers is they love to personalize their vehicles, and that is another reason why the brand fits so well here since there are a lot of activities to do outside and you can customize your vehicle to fit your style.

Crain VW is not just in the business of selling cars. They want to build relationships with their clients and make customer service the top priority. The dealership features trained technicians that can also service other German-made vehicles including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi.

Crain VW will have an official grand opening and ribbon-cutting with the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce on April 24 at 11 a.m. The following weekend, April 28 and 29, will be customer appreciation weekend.
