Festival of Color
Erzem Komoni (above photo), a University of Arkansas student from Kosovo, wears multicolored dyes Sunday while celebrating Holi at Wilson Park in Fayetteville. Holi is an Indian festival that marks the arrival of spring. Known as the Festival of Color, it’s a celebration of fertility, color, and love, as well as the triumph of good versus evil. The celebration was organized by Friends of India and is supported by the Student Activities Fee as a funded event by the Associated Student Government.
