Zucchini & Potato Bake 2 medium zucchini, cut into large pieces

4 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into large pieces

1 red bell pepper, seeded and chopped

1 clove of garlic, sliced ½ cup dry bread crumbs ¼ cup of olive oil paprika, salt, ground pepper to taste Preheat oven to 400 degrees F

In a medium baking pan, toss together the zucchini, potatoes, red bell pepper, garlic, bread crumbs, and olive oil. Season with paprika, salt, and pepper.

Bake 1 hour in the preheated oven, stirring occasional­ly, until potatoes are tender and lightly brown.

In a Dutch oven, combine the baked beans, onion, bell pepper and sausage. Season with chili powder, Worcesters­hire sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, ketchup, garlic powder and salt. Add dash of cayenne if desired.

Cover and bake for one hour in the oven.

2 (11 oz) cans whole kernel corn, drained

1 cup butter 2 cups cubs processed cheese Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)

Place bacon in a large deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain and crumble In a 9x13 inch casserole dish combine bacon, creamed corn, whole kernel corn, butter and processed cheese, mix well

Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes; stir. Bake another 20 min, or until heated through and set. 1 cup beer

In a shallow bowl combine flour, egg, parsley, garlic powder, oregano, salt and pepper. Gradually add beer, stirring, until a thick batter forms. Add more or less beer depending on the desired consistenc­y of the batter.

In a heavy frying pan heat oil (adjust amount, depending on the size of your pan, so that you have a couple of inches of oil) over medium-high heat. When oil is hot, dip onions in batter and fry, turning once to brown evenly on both sides. Drain on paper towels.

2 cups mayonnaise ½ cup mustard 1 cup chopped onion 2 tablespoon­s prepared horseradis­h sea salt for taste 8 hard-cooked eggs, chopped 3 dill pickles, chopped (optional) ground pepper for taste

Place the potatoes in a large pot with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil, and cook for about 10 minutes, or until tender. Drain, and place in a serving bowl.

Stir the onion, salt and pepper into the potatoes while they are still hot. This allows the potatoes to absorb the flavor. Allow to cool for about 20 minutes.

Add the mayonnaise, mustard and horseradis­h to the salad, and mix well. Gently stir in the eggs and dill pickles. Finish off with a generous grinding of black pepper on top. Chill for about 30 minutes before serving.

- Julie P Baked French Fries 1 large baking potato 1 tablespoon olive oil ½ teaspoon paprika ½ teaspoon garlic powder ½ teaspoon chili powder ½ teaspoon onion powder Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).

Cut potato into wedges. Mix olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, chili powder and onion powder together. Coat potatoes with oil/spice mixture and place on a baking sheet.

Bake for 45 minutes in preheated oven.
