Taqueria Real Jacona has been owned by Jesus Andrade ever since it opened in September 2013, and he picked a familiar face to be his head chef; his son.

Jose Andrade, cooks everything that the customer is looking for. From the basics like tacos, burritos, and quesadillas to tortas (similar to a mexican sandwich) and sopes (an equivalent of a mexican pizza), all made right where you can see.

“Our two most popular entrees are the Burrito Jacona (a burrito filled with your choice of meat, topped with a pile of lettuce and sliced avocados), as well as our tortas,” Jose Andrade said.

Taqueria Real Jacona will never force the customers to break the bank for their meals, as most entrees are under $10.

To wash down the delicious food, there is a wooden built bar to the right as you enter the restaurant. Here, the waiters can make any drink of your liking. They have the tradition lime and other flavored margaritas, beer, as well as their most popular drink. “Our most popular drink is our Michelada, it is a homemade drink. It contains tomato juice and a lot of other stuff,” Andrade laughed.

The other stuff that Andrade was hinting at includes any type of mexican lager beer, splashes of hot, worcesteshire and Maggi sauces, along with lime juices.

They also have traditional Mexican sodas and non-alcholic margaritas along with fountain drinks for customers not looking for alcoholic beverages.
