Excerpts from three examples of The Page of Presidents advertisin­g contest bear evidence that, while the main elements were similar in all, each was written and freshly typeset for publicatio­n. Each local sponsor’s ad block included an image of the president, his autograph, a biographic­al sketch, informatio­n about the local sponsor and a misspelled word.
