Excerpts from three examples of The Page of Presidents advertising contest bear evidence that, while the main elements were similar in all, each was written and freshly typeset for publication. Each local sponsor’s ad block included an image of the president, his autograph, a biographical sketch, information about the local sponsor and a misspelled word.
