BELLA VISTA — Theresa E. Cunningham, 90, daughter of David Nemback and Dora Koerner, passed away May 25 in Bentonvill­e. She was born Jan. 22, 1927, in San Fernando, Calif.

She is survived by two sons: Tim Cunningham of Bella Vista and Jack Cunningham of Tennessee, four grandchild­ren: Jason, Kristin, Ayrin, Victoria, five great-grandchild­ren: Kohdy, Kevin, Blake, Landan, Brayden.

Theresa was a telephone operator who changed jobs to become a purchasing agent for the Veterans Authority in Sepuveda, Calif., until retirement. After retirement she and her husband moved to Knoxville, Tenn., then to Bella Vista. She was a loving wife, nurturing mother and devoted friend. She is with the Lord and will be greatly missed by those she left behind.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jack. Theresa’s ashes will be placed with her husband’s at National Cemetery in Fayettevil­le, Ark.

BELLA VISTA — Leslie Graham Ray Ewing, 76, of Bella Vista, Ark., died May 24, 2017. He was born to Margie and Leslie Ewing in Laredo, Texas, on May 6, 1941.

Leslie was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 28 plus years of marriage, Jackie Ann. He has four children: Steve Ewing of Garland, Texas; Kathy Adreon of Coweta, Okla.; Bobby Ewing of Garland, Texas; Chris Ewing of Wylie, Texas, and two step children; Tonie Rys of Plano, Texas, and Mike Broberg of Richardson, Texas. He leaves behind nine grandchild­ren and six great grandchild­ren; a brother, Tony Ewing of Round Rock, Texas and a sister, Ginny Altheimer of Denver, Colo.

He proudly served his country; first in the U.S. Naval Reserve while in high school in Laredo, Texas, and after graduating high school in 1959, he entered the U.S. Air Force and served for eight years, during the Vietnam War. Leslie was stationed on the beautiful Pacific island of Guam, where his beautiful daughter, Kathy, was born and second son, Bobby, was conceived.

He was trained as a microwave equipment specialist and, upon his tour completion, returned to Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio where he completed his enlistment as an instructor of cryptograp­hic equipment. After leaving the Air Force, Leslie worked for an electronic­s firms in the Dallas area (LTV Electro systems and later, E-Systems) for 30 years, during which time he served a stint as a technical representa­tive in Vietnam (1969). He retired from Raytheon Company in 2000. Leslie and Jackie retired to Bella Vista, Ark., in September, 2006.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 27, at Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd, Bella Vista, Ark. Burial will follow at Bella Vista Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Online condolence­s may be made at www.funeralmat­ion.com.

FAYETTEVIL­LE — Catherine Ann Gordon, beloved Mother, MeMe and Friend passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017, in Fayettevil­le, Ark., surrounded by family and friends.

She is survived by a daughter, Shelley Mouber, granddaugh­ter Chelsea Jardon and grandson Max Jardon all of Fayettevil­le; a son, Jeffery Smith and wife Delindia, grandson Garrett Smith and granddaugh­ter Lily Smith, all of Hilton Head, S.C.; a brother, Jesse Morales, husband Marc, and nephew Buddy, all of Palm Springs, Calif.; a sister, Nancy Vezinaw, two nieces, Lisa Stebbins and Amy Vezinaw all of Gilroy, Calif.

HINDSVILLE — Richard Doyle Hackman, 65, of Hindsville, Ark., died May 21, 2017, at Fayettevil­le. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors: wife, Arlene Baker, sons, Richard Doyle Baker, Benjamin Baker, daughter, Deeanna Baker and four grandchild­ren. Services will be private. SPRINGDALE — William Noah Woodard, 87 of Springdale, passed away May 23, 2017, at Circle of Life Hospice. Bill was born in Harrison, Ark., on Dec. 11, 1929.

He was the son of William Noah Woodard and Nora Cantrell Woodard, who preceded him in death. He was preceded in death as well by his four sisters and three brothers.

Bill is survived by his wife, Helen of the home; his son, Eddie and his wife Renee’ of Springdale, daughter, Joanne and husband Jim of Jonesborou­gh, Tenn., daughter, Jane of Ashville, N.C., and daughter Deborah and husband Gary of West Fork, Ark. He is survived by eight grandchild­ren and seven great-grandchild­ren.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at Elm Springs Cemetery in Elm Springs, Ark., under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville, Missouri.
