BELLA VISTA — Lawrence “Larry” Joseph Hartman, 90, of Bella Vista died Thursday, June 15, 2017. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War. Survivors: wife; Donna Hartman, one daughter; Laurie Holmes, two step-sons; Kenneth Durkee, Craig Durkee, seven grandchild­ren, four great-grandchild­ren. BELLA VISTA — Cleo Catherine Schmitz of Bella Vista died Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Circle of Life, Legacy Village in Bentonvill­e. Ark. She was born May 18, 1923, in North Dakota to Clarence William and Louise (Fuller) Tram.

Cleo was employed at Beech Aircraft in Wichita, Kan., as an accountant. She was a life member of the degree of honor and a member of the Women’s Club at St. Bernard Parish. She enjoyed playing bridge and met her second husband Harold Schmitz while playing bridge 24 years ago. She downsized after extensive traveling and enjoying their last 13 years at the Plaza Retirement Complex in Bella Vista.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cy Jones, a grandson, Allen, and a sonin-law, Al. Survivors include her husband, Harold Schmitz; two daughters, Mary Kay Livsay of Fredericks­burg, Va., Colleen Bezdek of Denver, Colo.; three grandchild­ren and four great-grandchild­ren.

A Mass of the Resurrecti­on will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 19, 2017, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 1 St. Bernard Lane, Bella Vista, Ark., 72715. A rosary will proceed at 9 a.m. at the church. Father Barnabas Maria-susai will officiate. Burial will be in the Bella Vista Cemetery. Arrangemen­ts are by Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory. FAYETTEVIL­LE — Rickie Lee Hutton (Rick), 64, of Fayettevil­le, Ark., died on Thursday, June 15, 2017, at the Willard Walker Hospice Home. He was born Dec. 25, 1952, in Springdale, Ark., the son of Edward Lee and Jeanelle Campbell Hutton. At 18 he enlisted with the National Guard from August 1971 until August 1977. He retired after 29 years of service with the U.S. Postal Service and served 3 years with the Fayettevil­le School System.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Lisa Hutton. Survivors include his wife, Susan Hutton of the home; one son, Tommy Dale Gage and daughter-in-law, Tina M. Gage of Huntsville, Ark.; one daughter, Chantelle LeAnn Hutton of Fayettevil­le, Ark.; four grandchild­ren, Chante’ Hutton and JaQuon Douglas Hutton, both of the home; Cara Lee Gage of Clifty, Ark., and Kayla T. Keck with husband, Travis of Japton, Ark.; two sisters, Jeanette Phillips of Fayettevil­le, Ark., and Sherlene McConnell and husband, Marc of Springdale, Ark.

He was a dedicated fisherman, refereed football, umpired and coached baseball and had a great passion for growing flowers.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 19, 2017, at Beard’s Chapel. Interment will follow in Farmington Cemetery under the direction of Beard’s Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, June 18, 2017, at the funeral home.
