BELLA VISTA — John P. Middleton, 74, died June 22, 2017, with his cherished wife of 25 years, Mary with him. He leaves behind his beloved family; son, David; daughter, Erin; his Papa John children, Nancy, Mark and Paul; brother, Joe and sister, Nancy. GARFIELD — Richard E. “Dick” Barnes, 81, of Garfield, Ark., passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at Circle of Life Hospice Legacy Village in Bentonvill­e Ark. He was born July 7, 1935, in Creede, Colo., and was raised in the Sulphur Springs, Ark., area by his parents Shannon and Rose Davis Barnes.

Dick spent many years working for Superior Boiler Works in Hutchinson, Kan., before moving back to Arkansas where became a successful business owner. He owned and operated R.E. Barnes Incorporat­ed in Springdale from 1979 until 1999. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworkin­g. He was an avid outdoorsma­n and a great chef. He found his true happiness enjoying God’s nature at his home on Beaver Lake.

Dick was a very generous person and he loved to travel. Dick married the love of his life, Alice K. Barnes, in December 1979 in which they spent the next 27 years traveling and loving life.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Barnes and his parents. Survivors include one son, Clark Barnes of Hutchinson, Kan.; three daughters, Kathy Mullin of Olathe, Kan., Roxie Wyer of

Bella Vista, Ark., and Brenda Ludlow of Olathe, Kan.; one brother, Earl Barnes and wife Irene of Hutchinson, Kan.; one sister, Marie Boling and husband John of Wichita, Kan., and one grandson, Aaron Wolfe of Springdale and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 26, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Tontitown. Visitation will be Sunday, from 4 to 6 p.m. with a Rosary beginning at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

GRAVETTE — Heaven gained another GREAT COWBOY. Ronnie Bishop, age 72, of Gravette, Ark., took his final ride on Wednesday, June 21, 2017. At the time of his passing he was surrounded by loving family and friends at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonvill­e. Ronnie was born June 30, 1944, in the Farewell community, son of the late Orval and Edna Lavern (Walker) Bishop.

Ronnie grew up in the Farewell community along with his three brothers and six sisters and graduated from Green Forest High School in 1962. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, January 1967 thru January 1969, earning his Purple Heart.

On Nov. 6, 1988, he was united in marriage with Carol Kidwell.

He is survived by his wife Carol (Kidwell) Bishop of the home, daughters, Renee Bishop Allen of Gravette, Amy Bishop Greetan and husband Bill of Springdale, Jamie Bishop Phillips of Berryville, two brothers, Von Bishop and wife Brenda of Green Forest, Bobby Bishop of Green Forest, brother-in-law, Terry Fancher of Rule, five sisters, Glenda Jorgensen and husband Marvin of Green Forest, Sharon Needham of Rogers, Beverly Dorsey and husband Dale of Cave Springs, Teresa Kleffman and husband Steven of Berryville, Sandra Bishop

Williams of Berryville; grandchild­ren, Billy, Isabella and Genna Allen of Gravette, Chandler and Chelsey Greetan of Springdale, Madison and Baylee Phillips of Gravette, one great-granddaugh­ter, Braelyn Westrick of Gravette. Many, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews and two great-greatnephe­ws. Loving friends he cherished all across the country.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Jimmy Bishop and one sister, Janell Fancher.

Visitation­s will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, June 26, 2017, at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest and also 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at Bella Vista Funeral Home in Bella Vista, Ark.

Celebratio­n Of Life will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at Fayettevil­le National Cemetery in Fayettevil­le, Ark., with military honors and interment following the service.

WEST FORK — Robert

L. Taylor, age 90, of West Fork, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017, in Springdale. He was born Oct. 4, 1926, in Emery, S.D., the son of Leslie and Eleta Hubbs Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Ben Allen Taylor.

He worked for the Farmington police department and retired from Campbell Soup Company.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Mildred J. Center Taylor; two daughters, Susan Stewart of West Fork and Jane Acree and her husband Donnie of Oregon; two sons, Bobby Taylor and his wife Jhonnie of Fayettevil­le and Dennis Taylor and his wife Nancy of Neosho, Mo.; 11 grandchild­ren; 16 great-grandchild­ren and numerous other family members.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., Sunday, June 25, 2017, at Moore’s Chapel.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Monday at Moore’s Chapel followed by burial at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
