Lane closings set in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE — Drivers can expect lane closings on College Avenue and South School Avenue related to paving.

Beginning Wednesday, there will be lane closings between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. between 15th Street and Milsap Road. The closings are necessary to allow the contractor to place a new asphalt surface. It is anticipated the nightly work will take about a month to complete.

In January, the Arkansas Highway Commission awarded a $1.2 million contract to Hutchens Construction Co. for the project.
