Act 1218 of 2005 increased the fines, penalties and punishment for anyone found guilty of passing a stopped school bus in Arkansas. Violators shall be fined between $250 and $1,000 and have their driver’s license suspended between three weeks and one year. They also may be ordered to perform up to 400 hours of community service.
