Terri’s Spicy Vegetable Smoothie

½ cup fresh spinach, or more to taste 1 carrot, roughly chopped 1 rib celery

1 small tomato, halved ½ apple, cored ½ lime, juiced 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed

1 (½ inch) piece fresh ginger, peeled

1 pinch salt-free seasoning blend

1 dash hot sauce 1 dash Worcesters­hire sauce, or to taste water to cover

Combine spinach, carrot, celery, tomato, apple, lime juice, ground flaxseed, ginger, seasoning blend, hot sauce, and Worcesters­hire sauce in a blender; add enough water to cover. Blend mixture until smooth.

Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie

2 bananas, broken into chunks

2 cups milk

½ cup peanut butter 2 tablespoon­s honey 2 cups ice cubes

Place bananas, milk, peanut butter, honey, and ice cubes in a blender; blend until smooth, about

30 seconds.

Iced Mocha Fusion Shake

¾ cup milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 3 tablespoon­s granulated sugar 3 tablespoon­s mocha flavored instant coffee mix 1 cup crushed ice

In a blender or food processor, combine milk, vanilla, sugar, coffee powder and crushed ice. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.

Kiwi Strawberry Smoothie

1 banana 6 strawberri­es

1 kiwi

½ cup vanilla frozen yogurt ¾ cup pineapple or orange juice blend

Place the banana, strawberri­es, kiwi, vanilla frozen yogurt, and pineapple and orange juice blend in a blender. Blend until smooth.

Red, White, and Blue Fruit Smoothie

½ large banana, cut into pieces and frozen 2 large fresh strawberri­es, rinsed and sliced ¼ cup blueberrie­s

½ cup milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 tablespoon­s vanilla yogurt

2 ice cubes

Place the banana pieces, strawberri­es, blueberrie­s, milk, vanilla extract, yogurt, and ice cubes in a blender. Blend until smooth.

Mango-Pineapple Smoothie

1 cup vanilla yogurt 1 cup unsweetene­d pineapple juice ½ banana, sliced 1 mango – peeled, seeded, and chopped

½ cup nonfat milk 2 tablespoon­s cream of coconut

In a blender, blend the vanilla yogurt, pineapple juice, banana, mango, milk, and cream of coconut until smooth.

Quick Start Breakfast Drink

2 cups pineapple juice 2 bananas

2 cups vanilla yogurt 1 cup strawberri­es, hulled ¼ cup wheat germ 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

In a blender combine pineapple juice, bananas yogurt, strawberri­es, wheat

germ and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.

Power-Packed Smoothie

1 cup cold water 1 small banana ½ cup spinach, or more to taste 1 teaspoon spirulina powder

Place cold water, banana, and spinach leaves in a blender; blend to combine, about 5 seconds. Add spirulina powder and blend until smooth, 1 minute more.

Banana Pina Colada Smoothie

1 large banana

1 cup coconut juice blend, or more to taste 2 pineapple spears 3 cubes ice 1 tablespoon agave nectar

Blend banana, coconut juice blend, pineapple, ice, and agave nectar together in a blender until smooth.
