Terri’s Spicy Veg­etable Smoothie

½ cup fresh spinach, or more to taste 1 car­rot, roughly chopped 1 rib cel­ery

1 small tomato, halved ½ ap­ple, cored ½ lime, juiced 1 ta­ble­spoon ground flaxseed

1 (½ inch) piece fresh ginger, peeled

1 pinch salt-free sea­son­ing blend

1 dash hot sauce 1 dash Worces­ter­shire sauce, or to taste wa­ter to cover

Com­bine spinach, car­rot, cel­ery, tomato, ap­ple, lime juice, ground flaxseed, ginger, sea­son­ing blend, hot sauce, and Worces­ter­shire sauce in a blender; add enough wa­ter to cover. Blend mix­ture un­til smooth.

Peanut But­ter Ba­nana Smoothie

2 ba­nanas, bro­ken into chunks

2 cups milk

½ cup peanut but­ter 2 ta­ble­spoons honey 2 cups ice cubes

Place ba­nanas, milk, peanut but­ter, honey, and ice cubes in a blender; blend un­til smooth, about

30 sec­onds.


Iced Mocha Fu­sion Shake

¾ cup milk 1 tea­spoon vanilla ex­tract 3 ta­ble­spoons gran­u­lated su­gar 3 ta­ble­spoons mocha fla­vored in­stant cof­fee mix 1 cup crushed ice

In a blender or food pro­ces­sor, com­bine milk, vanilla, su­gar, cof­fee pow­der and crushed ice. Blend un­til smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.


Kiwi Straw­berry Smoothie

1 ba­nana 6 straw­ber­ries

1 kiwi

½ cup vanilla frozen yo­gurt ¾ cup pineap­ple or or­ange juice blend

Place the ba­nana, straw­ber­ries, kiwi, vanilla frozen yo­gurt, and pineap­ple and or­ange juice blend in a blender. Blend un­til smooth.


Red, White, and Blue Fruit Smoothie

½ large ba­nana, cut into pieces and frozen 2 large fresh straw­ber­ries, rinsed and sliced ¼ cup blue­ber­ries

½ cup milk 1 tea­spoon vanilla ex­tract 2 ta­ble­spoons vanilla yo­gurt

2 ice cubes

Place the ba­nana pieces, straw­ber­ries, blue­ber­ries, milk, vanilla ex­tract, yo­gurt, and ice cubes in a blender. Blend un­til smooth.

Mango-Pineap­ple Smoothie

1 cup vanilla yo­gurt 1 cup unsweet­ened pineap­ple juice ½ ba­nana, sliced 1 mango – peeled, seeded, and chopped

½ cup non­fat milk 2 ta­ble­spoons cream of co­conut

In a blender, blend the vanilla yo­gurt, pineap­ple juice, ba­nana, mango, milk, and cream of co­conut un­til smooth.


Quick Start Break­fast Drink

2 cups pineap­ple juice 2 ba­nanas

2 cups vanilla yo­gurt 1 cup straw­ber­ries, hulled ¼ cup wheat germ 1 tea­spoon vanilla ex­tract

In a blender com­bine pineap­ple juice, ba­nanas yo­gurt, straw­ber­ries, wheat

germ and vanilla ex­tract. Blend un­til smooth.


Power-Packed Smoothie

1 cup cold wa­ter 1 small ba­nana ½ cup spinach, or more to taste 1 tea­spoon spir­ulina pow­der

Place cold wa­ter, ba­nana, and spinach leaves in a blender; blend to com­bine, about 5 sec­onds. Add spir­ulina pow­der and blend un­til smooth, 1 minute more.


Ba­nana Pina Co­lada Smoothie

1 large ba­nana

1 cup co­conut juice blend, or more to taste 2 pineap­ple spears 3 cubes ice 1 ta­ble­spoon agave nec­tar

Blend ba­nana, co­conut juice blend, pineap­ple, ice, and agave nec­tar to­gether in a blender un­til smooth.
