BEN­TON COUNTY

Holy Trin­ity Lutheran Church in Rogers, 1101 W. Hud­son Road, presents Neil Ogle from Gideons In­ter­na­tional speak­ing at the 8 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. wor­ship ser­vices Sun­day. He will give an up­date on the min­istry of the Gideons, and a door of­fer­ing will be taken to sup­port the Gideons.

The church of­fers va­ca­tion Bible school July 30 to Aug. 3.

First Pres­by­te­rian Church in Ben­tonville, 901 N.E. J St., of­fers Bible-based day camps for chil­dren who have com­pleted kinder­garten to sixth grade. Each camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for five days, Mon­day to Fri­day, July 17-21 and July 24-28.

The church op­er­ates a food pantry from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. ev­ery Satur­day.

The Pres­by­te­rian Church of Bella Vista, 1880 For­est Hills Blvd., plans a “Back to School Brunch” at 8:30 a.m. July 15. Par­tic­i­pants are asked to bring school sup­plies, which will be do­nated to Gravette schools. A pro­gram fol­lows.

The church presents a “Cre­ative Kids Make It and Share It” from 9 to 11:30 a.m. July 31 to Aug. 4 for stu­dents in kinder­garten through 12th grade. Par­tic­i­pants will make dif­fer­ent projects each day and de­liver them to non­profit agen­cies in Bella Vista.

Through the sum­mer months, the church col­lects snacks for kids to do­nate to Help­ing Hands Food Pantry in Ben­tonville. Sug­gested items in­clude cheese and crack­ers, fruit cups, juice pack­ets and boxes, gra­nola bars and mi­crowav­able items such as mac­a­roni and cheese, ravi­oli and soups.

High­land Chris­tian Church (Dis­ci­ples of Christ) in Bella Vista, 1500 For­est Hills Blvd., of­fers a class on be­com­ing a mem­ber of the Dis­ci­ples of Christ at 9 a.m. each Sun­day, July 16-30. Ray Tic­knor leads the class, fo­cus­ing on the church’s his­tory, ba­sic char­ac­ter­is­tics, av­enues of ser­vice and or­ga­ni­za­tional struc­ture.

The church plans a bus trip Sept. 12 to Bran­son, Mo., to see Moses at the Sight and Sound The­ater. Cost is $110 per per­son, and a $25 de­posit re­serves a seat. The trip in­cludes two meals.

WASH­ING­TON COUNTY

First United Pres­by­te­rian Church in Fayet­teville, 695 E. Calvin St., gath­ers on the church grounds for hot dogs and ice cream af­ter the 11 a.m. wor­ship ser­vice Sun­day. Lawn chairs and blan­kets are en­cour­aged.
