BENTON COUNTY
Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Rogers, 1101 W. Hudson Road, presents Neil Ogle from Gideons International speaking at the 8 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. worship services Sunday. He will give an update on the ministry of the Gideons, and a door offering will be taken to support the Gideons.
The church offers vacation Bible school July 30 to Aug. 3.
The church plans a bus tour to visit the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum near Cincinnati from Sept. 10-16. Contact the church for more information.

First Presbyterian Church in Bentonville, 901 N.E. J St., offers Bible-based day camps for children who have completed kindergarten to sixth grade. Each camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for five days, Monday to Friday, July 17-21 and July 24-28.
The church operates a food pantry from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. every Saturday.

The Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista, 1880 Forest Hills Blvd., plans a “Back to School Brunch” at 8:30 a.m. July 15. Participants are asked to bring school supplies, which will be donated to Gravette schools. A program follows.
The church presents a “Creative Kids Make It and Share It” from 9 to 11:30 a.m. July 31 to Aug. 4 for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Participants will make different projects each day and deliver them to nonprofit agencies in Bella Vista.
Through the summer months, the church collects snacks for kids to donate to Helping Hands Food Pantry in Bentonville. Suggested items include cheese and crackers, fruit cups, juice packets and boxes, granola bars and microwavable items such as macaroni and cheese, ravioli and soups.

Highland Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Bella Vista, 1500 Forest Hills Blvd., offers a class on becoming a member of the Disciples of Christ at 9 a.m. each Sunday, July 16-30. Ray Ticknor leads the class, focusing on the church’s history, basic characteristics, avenues of service and organizational structure.
The church plans a bus trip Sept. 12 to Branson, Mo., to see Moses at the Sight and Sound Theater. Cost is $110 per person, and a $25 deposit reserves a seat. The trip includes two meals.

WASHINGTON COUNTY
First United Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville, 695 E. Calvin St., gathers on the church grounds for hot dogs and ice cream after the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday. Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged.
