Low­ell lanes close for work on by­pass

Work as­so­ci­ated with con­struc­tion of the U.S. 412 north­ern by­pass will re­quire lane clo­sures on South Goad Springs Street in Low­ell for five days be­gin­ning today, the Arkansas High­way and Trans­porta­tion De­part­ment said.

The north­bound and south­bound lanes on South Goad Springs Street will al­ter­nately be closed to al­low bridge beams to be erected for an in­ter­change ramp over the road­way from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily through Fri­day, weather per­mit­ting.

Traf­fic will be con­trolled us­ing flag­gers, traf­fic bar­rels and warn­ing signs, the de­part­ment said. Two lanes of traf­fic will be re­stored daily by 2 p.m.
