As a mat­ter of pol­icy, the North­west Arkansas Demo­crat-Gazette will pub­lish corrections of er­rors in fact that have been printed in the news­pa­per.

The corrections will be made as soon as pos­si­ble af­ter the er­ror has been brought to the at­ten­tion of the editor at (479) 872-5168.

The Large Syn­op­tic Sur­vey Tele­scope is a Na­tional Science Foun­da­tion project, and Ivy Ku­pec is a pub­lic af­fairs spe­cial­ist for the Na­tional Science Foun­da­tion. Those af­fil­i­a­tions were in­cor­rect in a story in Sun­day’s edi­tions about a Univer­sity of Arkansas, Fayet­teville, as­tro­physi­cist search­ing for an undis­cov­ered planet.

Scott Trot­ter, au­thor of a pro­posed Con­sti­tu­tional amend­ment, said he did not be­lieve At­tor­ney Gen­eral Les­lie Rut­ledge was com­plain­ing about the length of his sub­mis­sion. He said he wasn’t quoted ac­cu­rately in an ar­ti­cle Satur­day about the pro­posed amend­ment which would broaden govern­ment re­vi­sions and pro­tec­tions for lawyers.
