Prairie pro­gram set at Hobbs

A pro­gram on na­tive prairie restora­tion will high­light the North­west Arkansas Audubon So­ci­ety meet­ing at 2 p.m. Satur­day at Hobbs State Park-Con­ser­va­tion Area visi­tor cen­ter.

Dan Schie­man, bird con­ser­va­tion di­rec­tor for Audubon Arkansas, will talk about the prairie project that en­cour­ages landown­ers to plant na­tive grass and wild­flow­ers to ben­e­fit wildlife.

The pub­lic is wel­come. Audubon mem­ber­ship is not re­quired.
