Prairie program set at Hobbs
A program on native prairie restoration will highlight the Northwest Arkansas Audubon Society meeting at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area visitor center.
Dan Schieman, bird conservation director for Audubon Arkansas, will talk about the prairie project that encourages landowners to plant native grass and wildflowers to benefit wildlife.
The public is welcome. Audubon membership is not required.
