Writers to read from their books

Mark Spitzer and Lea Graham will read from their environmental books at 7 p.m. Aug. 4 at Nightbird Books, 205 W. Dickson St. in Fayetteville.

Spitzer teaches at the University of Central Arkansas and is the author of numerous books about fish. Graham grew up in Fayetteville and writes poetry and travel essays that investigate memory and place.

A question-and-answer session and book signing will follow their presentation.
