Fayet­teville cou­ple ar­rested in con­nec­tion with beat­ing

FAYET­TEVILLE — Po­lice ar­rested a cou­ple Wed­nes­day in con­nec­tion with a Dickson Street as­sault.

Lorenzo Green, 22, was ar­rested in con­nec­tion with at­tempted first-de­gree mur­der, ag­gra­vated rob­bery and tam­per­ing with phys­i­cal ev­i­dence, ac­cord­ing to a news re­lease. Kayla Rolle, 20, was ar­rested in con­nec­tion with be­ing an ac­com­plice to each of these crimes.

Of­fi­cers found Bran­don Blake, 25, of Ok­la­homa City badly beaten early Fri­day morn­ing in the park­ing lot of Ar­saga’s at the De­pot. Blake was treated for se­vere lac­er­a­tions, bro­ken bones and a brain in­jury at Washington Re­gional Med­i­cal Cen­ter.

Green robbed Blake and was shown stand­ing over him in a photo thought to be taken by Rolle, ac­cord­ing to the re­lease.

Green and Rolle were ar­rested about 6 p.m. in Spring­dale. Nei­ther were on the in­mate list at the Washington County De­ten­tion Cen­ter as of 5 p.m. Thurs­day.

The Spring­dale Po­lice De­part­ment and 4th Ju­di­cial Dis­trict Drug Task Force helped in the in­ves­ti­ga­tion.
