Fayetteville couple arrested in connection with beating
FAYETTEVILLE — Police arrested a couple Wednesday in connection with a Dickson Street assault.
Lorenzo Green, 22, was arrested in connection with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated robbery and tampering with physical evidence, according to a news release. Kayla Rolle, 20, was arrested in connection with being an accomplice to each of these crimes.
Officers found Brandon Blake, 25, of Oklahoma City badly beaten early Friday morning in the parking lot of Arsaga’s at the Depot. Blake was treated for severe lacerations, broken bones and a brain injury at Washington Regional Medical Center.
Green robbed Blake and was shown standing over him in a photo thought to be taken by Rolle, according to the release.
Green and Rolle were arrested about 6 p.m. in Springdale. Neither were on the inmate list at the Washington County Detention Center as of 5 p.m. Thursday.
The Springdale Police Department and 4th Judicial District Drug Task Force helped in the investigation.
