Ben­ton County Sher­iff’s Of­fice

Kevin Joseph Holmes, 39, of 13854 Cortez Court in Rogers was ar­rested Fri­day in con­nec­tion with ag­gra­vated as­sault on a fam­ily or house­hold mem­ber. Holmes was be­ing held Fri­day in the Ben­ton County Jail on a $20,000 bond.

Ben­tonville

Yates Kiernan Oneil, 20, of 14 Meadow Brook Cir­cle was ar­rested Wed­nes­day in con­nec­tion with bat­tery, crim­i­nal mis­chief, domestic bat­ter­ing, pos­ses­sion of a con­trolled sub­stance, re­sist­ing ar­rest and tam­per­ing with phys­i­cal ev­i­dence. Oneil was be­ing held Fri­day in the Ben­ton County Jail on a $5,000 bond.

Adrain Var­gas-Mo­rales, 21, of 22 Annabell in Bella Vista was ar­rested Fri­day in con­nec­tion with dis­tribut­ing, pos­sess­ing or view­ing mat­ter de­pict­ing sex­u­ally ex­plicit con­duct in­volv­ing a child. Var­gas-Mo­rales was be­ing held Fri­day in the Ben­ton County Jail with no bond set.

Fayetteville

Sierra John­son, 25, of 474 N. Coral Canyon Loop was ar­rested Thurs­day in con­nec­tion with two counts of pos­ses­sion of a con­trolled sub­stance with in­tent to de­liver, pos­ses­sion of drug para­pher­na­lia, pos­ses­sion of a forgery de­vice, fraud and theft of prop­erty. Mul­ti­ple em­ploy­ees re­ported thefts and one iden­ti­fied John­son. She was found with 46 stolen items or boxes, some with up to 50 sy­ringes in a box, and 17 dif­fer­ent pre­scrip­tions, ac­cord­ing to an ar­rest re­port. John­son was be­ing held Fri­day at the Wash­ing­ton County De­ten­tion Cen­ter with no bond set. John­son was working at Wash­ing­ton Re­gional Med­i­cal Cen­ter.

Leonel Meza-Ave­lar, 22, of 609 Mi­mosa Lane was ar­rested Thurs­day in con­nec­tion with break­ing or entering and theft of prop­erty. Meza-Ave­lar was be­ing held Thurs­day in the Ben­ton County Jail with no bond set.

Shane Allen Dyson, 25, of 13896 Cloverdale was ar­rested Fri­day in con­nec­tion with break­ing or entering. Dyson was be­ing held Fri­day in the Ben­ton County Jail with no bond set.

Spring­dale

Cur­tis Turner, 31, of 1107 White Road was ar­rested Fri­day in con­nec­tion with rob­bery and crim­i­nal tres­pass. Po­lice said Turner took mul­ti­ple items from the Wal-Mart at 2400 S. Pleas­ant St. in Spring­dale and rammed an em­ployee in the chest with his shoul­der to knock him out of the way to get out of the store, ac­cord­ing to a pre­lim­i­nary re­port. Turner was be­ing held Fri­day at the Wash­ing­ton County De­ten­tion Cen­ter with no bond set.

Ashley McDon­ald, 32, of 1701 S. West End was ar­rested Fri­day in con­nec­tion with ag­gra­vated as­sault of a fam­ily or house­hold mem­ber. McDon­ald was be­ing held Fri­day at the Wash­ing­ton County De­ten­tion Cen­ter with no bond set.

Jimmy Smith, 32, of 1205 Box­ley Drive in Fayetteville was ar­rested Thurs­day in con­nec­tion with domestic bat­ter­ing. Smith was be­ing held Fri­day at the Wash­ing­ton County De­ten­tion Cen­ter with no bond set.

A stolen ve­hi­cle was re­ported at 9:09 a.m. Thurs­day at 404 S.E. G St.

Bur­glary was re­ported at 11:30 a.m. Thurs­day at 723 W. Cen­tral Ave.

Bur­glary was re­ported at 12:54 p.m. Thurs­day at 602 S.E. Eighth St.

AC­CI­DENTS

A scooter driver was sent to a hos­pi­tal af­ter a hit-and-run ac­ci­dent at 4:38 a.m. Fri­day at the in­ter­sec­tion of West Per­sim­mon Street and Salem Road. A ve­hi­cle de­scrip­tion was not avail­able.

FIRE Fayetteville

A ve­hi­cle fire was re­ported at 2:36 p.m. Thurs­day in the Wash­ing­ton Re­gional Med­i­cal Cen­ter park­ing lot on West Ap­pleby Road. The small fire was put out with a wa­ter can by a by­stander, ac­cord­ing to the Fayetteville Fire Depart­ment.

A ve­hi­cle fire was re­ported at 3:33 p.m. Thurs­day on East North Street. A by­stander put out the flame with a fire ex­tin­guisher, ac­cord­ing to the Fayetteville Fire Depart­ment.

A struc­ture fire was re­ported at 2:33 a.m. Fri­day at 2678 N. Club Drive, No. 9. Fire­fight­ers found an over­heated mo­tor in an air con­di­tioner, but no flames were seen, ac­cord­ing to the Fayetteville Fire Depart­ment.
