Hotel space

Rogers had three hotels in 1999 when the city adopted a 2 percent tax on hotel and motel rooms to pay for efforts to advertise and promote the city as a tourism destination, according to J.R. Shaw, executive director of Visit Rogers. Now, he said, the city has 19 hotels with more then 1,900 rooms.
