Auto dealership is ready for business

Springdale’s newest auto dealership, Rath Auto Resources, opened Saturday at 3558 S. Thompson St. The dealership features a full-service Meineke Car Care Center.

Rath Auto Resources is based in Fort Smith. That location is owned and operated by Larry Rath. David Rath, Larry Rath’s son, decided to expand operations to Northwest Arkansas.

The dealership has partnered with local organizations, including Saving Grace Inc., Humane Society of the Ozarks and The Children’s Safety Center. A customer will select the charity of his choice when purchasing a vehicle, and donations will be made to the organizations each month. Briefs are for businesses in Northwest Arkansas that are new, have moved or closed, opened a new branch, changed owners or have been honored by an independent organization.
