Sunshine School & Development Center
was awarded $10,000 from the Walmart Foundation to help purchase a new bus. It will be used in SSDC’s transportation program for young children ages 18 months to 5 years old who have developmental delays and disabilities. The new bus was released earlier this summer. It holds 13 passengers and is equipped with the Safe Child Alarm that helps to ensure no child is left behind. The bus also features new graphics, which were printed and applied by Walmart Sign Shop. The new bus will carry 12 of the 51 children currently benefitting from transportation services at SSDC.
