Shooting death
Deputies and investigators with the Benton County Sheriff’s Office spent hours examining evidence in a mobile home at 16912 Smith Ridge Road, Garfield, today after a 911 call about a shooting. One person was killed and a suspect is in custody, Sgt. Shannon Jenkins with the Sheriff’s Office said. The Sheriff’s Office didn’t released the names of the dead person or the suspect as of press time.
