Represent the people

Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette - - VOICES -

Isn’t it nice to read a letter that is positive, not about Russia, not about or against Trump? It is refreshing not to read about more excuses why Hillary got beat. The letter written by Susan J. Strayer of Hot Springs about Paul Spencer is positive, not partisan, and makes good suggestions.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: This is the worst Congress in my lifetime. How nice it would be to have a congressman that speaks for the people. Not a lawyer, not a politician, not a party hack, but an educated person whose interest is his people, not party, not someone who represents interest. He reminds me of John Paul Hammerschmidt. I hope to meet Paul Spencer. If he is what I think he is about, I’ll do what little I can to help him.

Let’s try and forget what party someone is in and vote for someone who will represent the people. ALLAN DISHONGH Little Rock
