BEN­TONVILLE — Char­lene Marie Hole­man,

84, passed away on Aug. 4, 2017, in Ben­tonville. She was born on Feb. 20, 1933, in Fort Smith, Ark., to the late Charles and Madi­lynn (Lim­burg) Burger.

She was a sweet and lov­ing wife, mother and grand­mother and she will be greatly missed.

Char­lene is sur­vived by her hus­band of 68 years, Don Hole­man of Ben­tonville; son, Ron Hole­man of Louisiana daugh­ters, Chris­tine Kane of Cal­i­for­nia and Roberta Wei­land of Iowa; brother, Tommy Burger of Fayetteville; six grand­chil­dren and four great-grand­chil­dren

Luther Den­zel Scran­ton,

age 76, of Ben­tonville, died Thurs­day, Aug. 3, 2017, at his home. He was born Sept. 16, 1940, in Fayetteville, the son of Clyde W. and Reba Fern Al­li­son Scran­ton.

He was pre­ceded in death by his wife Linda Lou Rose Scran­ton and a son, Mike Alan Scran­ton. He re­tired from Elkhart Prod­ucts af­ter 35 years of ser­vice.

He is sur­vived by his com­pan­ion, Patsy Rakes and her son Carl; a daugh­ter, Debi Fields and her hus­band Danny of Thorny Creek; a son, Mark Scran­ton of Thorny Creek; four grand­chil­dren, Ja­son Fields, Josh Fields, Nick Scran­ton and Paige Scran­ton; three great-grand­sons and many great friends.

Vis­i­ta­tion will be 2 p.m. – 4 p.m., Sun­day, Aug. 6, 2017, at Moore’s Chapel. Grave­side ser­vice will be 10 a.m., Mon­day at Mount Olive Ceme­tery near Elkins, un­der the di­rec­tion of Moore’s Chapel. ROGERS — Brenda

Bride, 51, of Rogers passed away Aug. 1, 2017, in Rogers. She was born Dec. 1, 1965, in Kirksville, Mo., to Clif­ford and Ar­leta Gar­rett Miller.

She is pre­ceded in death by her late hus­band, Earnest Lyle Mont­gomery in 1992 and grand­par­ents.

She is sur­vived by lov­ing hus­band Roger Bride of the home; five chil­dren and their spouses and chil­dren, Kim­berly Ketcher of Pea Ridge, Ryan Mont­gomery of An­der­son, Mo., Lacey Mont­gomery of Rogers, Matthew Mont­gomery of Pineville, Mo., and Kyle Mont­gomery of Bella Vista; 13 grand­chil­dren, brother, two sis­ters, nieces, neph­ews, and ex­tended fam­ily.
