BENTONVILL­E — Charlene Marie Holeman,

84, passed away on Aug. 4, 2017, in Bentonvill­e. She was born on Feb. 20, 1933, in Fort Smith, Ark., to the late Charles and Madilynn (Limburg) Burger.

She was a sweet and loving wife, mother and grandmothe­r and she will be greatly missed.

Charlene is survived by her husband of 68 years, Don Holeman of Bentonvill­e; son, Ron Holeman of Louisiana daughters, Christine Kane of California and Roberta Weiland of Iowa; brother, Tommy Burger of Fayettevil­le; six grandchild­ren and four great-grandchild­ren

BENTONVILL­E —

Luther Denzel Scranton,

age 76, of Bentonvill­e, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, at his home. He was born Sept. 16, 1940, in Fayettevil­le, the son of Clyde W. and Reba Fern Allison Scranton.

He was preceded in death by his wife Linda Lou Rose Scranton and a son, Mike Alan Scranton. He retired from Elkhart Products after 35 years of service.

He is survived by his companion, Patsy Rakes and her son Carl; a daughter, Debi Fields and her husband Danny of Thorny Creek; a son, Mark Scranton of Thorny Creek; four grandchild­ren, Jason Fields, Josh Fields, Nick Scranton and Paige Scranton; three great-grandsons and many great friends.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. – 4 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 6, 2017, at Moore’s Chapel. Graveside service will be 10 a.m., Monday at Mount Olive Cemetery near Elkins, under the direction of Moore’s Chapel. ROGERS — Brenda

Bride, 51, of Rogers passed away Aug. 1, 2017, in Rogers. She was born Dec. 1, 1965, in Kirksville, Mo., to Clifford and Arleta Garrett Miller.

She is preceded in death by her late husband, Earnest Lyle Montgomery in 1992 and grandparen­ts.

She is survived by loving husband Roger Bride of the home; five children and their spouses and children, Kimberly Ketcher of Pea Ridge, Ryan Montgomery of Anderson, Mo., Lacey Montgomery of Rogers, Matthew Montgomery of Pineville, Mo., and Kyle Montgomery of Bella Vista; 13 grandchild­ren, brother, two sisters, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Funeral services to be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017, at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 North 4th, Rogers. Interment will follow in the Pace Cemetery, Garfield.
