Information on voters

I have been reading about our voter info being released to the feds. I have no problem with my data being sent to them, but what I have a big problem with is how in the heck did the state get my Social Security number?

Also, how in the world did all the felons get registered? When I went to school, if you had a felony, you could not vote. Did they lie on the form, and if they did, why is the state not rounding them up and charging them? If you can tell if they have a felony on their record, why has not the state locked them up as I believe they have broken the law? Just wondering, why are they still on the voter rolls?
