Teenage boy’s body sent to state crime lab
FAYETTEVILLE — The body of a teen boy found Friday was sent to the State Crime Laboratory to determine cause of death, police spokesman Sgt. Anthony Murphy said Monday.
Police said Kaiden Fritch, 17, was found dead at 11:29 a.m. in an empty apartment in the same complex where he lived.
There is no evidence of trauma, Murphy said.
Police are awaiting a toxicology report before releasing more information, he said.
Fritch had been missing six days when his body was found inside Apt. C19 at the Southmount Apartments, 1101 S. Curtis Ave., police said.
