Alpena (Boone County), 1901

The historic occasion marked by the card was the first train to enter Boone County. The train, bound for Harrison, was that of the St. Louis & North Arkansas Railroad. The card is courtesy of the Depot Museum at St. Joe on U.S. 65, open most Saturdays and well worth a visit.
