ROGERS — In loving memory of Nicole Ashley Young, “Nikki”, of Rogers, who passed away on Aug. 21, 2017.

She wa s the funniest and more loving daughter and sister you could ever imagine. Her love of family and country knew no bounds. In her front yard stands a huge wooden American flag that is as big as her heart. She was a super aunt to Bailey and Bradley, loving them like her own.

As a young girl she worked at Rocky Branch Marina on the cash register and became a successful, independent businesswoman who worked in China. She leaves those coworkers in “great sadness” and they will miss Ms. Nikki. As they liked to say, “She very funny!” The many videos they took of her would explain what words could not.

Nikki also left many Rogers High School friends sad, but more complete because of the person she was. She was a pilot, scuba diver, RHS cheerleader, and straight A student. In her short life she was a friend and confidante to all she knew. She will truly be missed.

She is survived by her parents, Wade and Cynthia Young; sister, Kim Young Brown; brother-in-law David Brown; niece, Bailey; nephew, Bradley; and her love, Andy Edwards. Plus scores of cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends who loved her dearly.

Nikki’s favorite charity was St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Aug. 25, 2017, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. There will then be a time for friends and family to share memories of Nikki from noon to 12:30 p.m. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum of Pinnacle Memorial Gardens.
