BELLA VISTA — Melissa Kay Watson, 58, of Bella Vista died Sunday at Circle of Life Hospice House. She was born Dec. 30, 1958.

Survivors include: friends, Sara Tharp and her husband Bill, of Gentry, and Lynn Raymond and her husband Louis, of Missouri.

FORREST CITY — Mr. Marion C. Whitehead age 86, of Forrest City, Ark. died early Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017, at his home.

Mr. Whitehead was born Jan. 29, 1931 in Walnut Ridge, Ark. He was the son of Marion J. Whitehead and Iva J. Allen Whitehead. Mr. Whitehead was retired from Airtherm Corporatio­n and was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was an avid outdoorsma­n, loved hunting and fishing.

Mr. Whitehead married Patricia A. Thompson in 1956 and she survives him along with two daughters, Cynthia A. Halbert and husband Claude of Forrest City, Carla J. Towery of Forrest City; two sons, Mark J. Whitehead and wife Ruthanne of Bentonvill­e, David W. Whitehead and wife Becky of Garfield, Ark. Three grandchild­ren also survive him, Julie Hickman and husband Casey, Chad Halbert and wife Meghan and Tiffany Whitehead along with six great grandchild­ren. A granddaugh­ter, Candice Halbert preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bell Cemetery in Palestine, Ark. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Visit online registry at stevensfun­eral home.net. SPRINGDALE — Marsha Lee Markley, 57, of Springdale passed away Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017 at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born Jan. 12, 1960, in North Little Rock, Ark., to Bill and Jewel Johnson Jobe.

She worked at George’s as a Supervisor. She enjoyed going to yard sales and feeding her critters.

She was preceded in death by her father and one brother.

Survivors include her husband, Kyle Markley of the home; three sons, Darrell Johnson of Huntsville, Jack Johnson of Springdale, and Kenneth James Markley of Springdale; one step-son, David Markley of Springdale; two sisters, Melinda McCallie of North Little Rock and Elner Shannon and husband Kenny of Atkins, Ark.; two grandchild­ren, Bailey Johnson of Prairie Grove and Jacob Johnson Springdale; and one great-grandchild, Izaak Johnson.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.

Visitation will be Tuesday, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
