■ Kaleb Douglas, 26, faces burglary and assault charges after jumping through a window in a bid to escape after a homeowner confronted the man in his home carrying a mop and trying on his shirts, police in Bourbon, Miss., said.

■ Leonard Graumenz, 59, of Constantia, N.Y., said he was just joking when he went to a neighbor’s with a handcuffed wrist and an account of just having shot a state trooper, but was charged with reckless endangerme­nt and making a false report when the neighbor called 911.

■ Tanishia Fielder 32, of Swissvale,Pawas arrested for attempted homicide and other charges regarding the stabbing of her 8-day-old son and the baby’s father, telling police that God made her do it because the baby was created “by the devil.”

■ Shawn Henderson, 47, of Terrytown, La., who first called sheriff’s deputies to report that a stranger was taking pictures of his home, was arrested for aggravated assault after he confronted the man, who later denied taking any pictures, and shot him in the leg.

■Martin Turkiewics 88, of Cheektowag­a, N.Y., has pleaded innocent to attempted murder and assault charges, accused of hitting his 86-year-old wife, Rita, in the head with a hammer inside the New York nursing home where she was undergoing treatment, prosecutor­s said.

■Carlia Brady, a Superior Court judge in Middle sex County, N.J., still faces two hindering counts but no longer is charged with official misconduct for not notifying polcie that her then - boyfriend was hiding at her home in 2013 to avoid being arrested for armed robbery.

■David Slater,a nature photograph­er , will donate 25 percent of any future revenue from selfie photograps taken by a monkey in an Indonesian Jungle in 2008 to charities that protect crested macaques to settle a federal lawsuit filed by an animal welfare group over whether he or the monkey owns the copyright
