First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Rogers, 905 S. 13th St., plans a “Neighborhood Block Party” from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. In addition to lunch, activities include Bingo games, bounce houses, jewelry making, lawn games, face painting, a magic show, a health and wellness expert, and a giant puzzle.

Fellowship Bible Church of Northwest Arkansas, 1051 W. Pleasant Grove Road, Rogers, hosts Elizabeth Henry, once an orphan in Eastern Ukraine, at 7 p.m. Friday in “The Lodge” on the church campus. Henry, now the adopted daughter of an American family and a senior at Virginia Tech, received a shoe box from Operation Christmas Child and will share its impact on her life.

New Wine Ministries, 2262 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, 8030 La Croix Road, Decatur, celebrates the Feast of the Tabernacles at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 5-15 with worship, spiritual dancing, speakers and food at the Bella Vista location. Breakfast, followed by speakers, praise and worship, is served at 9 a.m. each day in Decatur.

Unitarian Universalists of Benton County, 1400 W. Walnut St., No. 113, Rogers, gathers Sunday at its new location in the Quarter Shopping Center for a worship service at 11 a.m. Sunday. The service features an intergenerational “water ceremony,” with participants asked to bring water that’s special or represents the family.

New Life Christian Church in Bella Vista,
103 Riordan Road, offers a new worship service at 5 p.m. Saturday evenings, beginning this week. The service will be the same as the three Sunday morning worship services at 8:30 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. In addition, the church offers a sign language interpreter during every 11:30 a.m. Sunday service.
A new women’s Bible study begins at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, complemented by the book, Outlive Your Life: You Were Made to Make a Difference by Max Lucado.

100 Cooper Road, sponsors the Women of United for “Let’s Gather” at 6 p.m. Monday for a general meeting and salad supper. Members who attended the Triennial Convention will give a report.
The church offers a book study focusing on Love Wins: A Book About Heaven, Hell and the Fate of Every Person Who Ever Lived by Rob Bell. Discussions are planned for 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Oct. 3.

The church missions committee collects items for “Cleanup Buckets” for storm victims in Texas and Florida. The Martha Garvin Circle of Presbyterian Women collects gently used sweaters and sweatshirts of all sizes, for men, women and children, for distribution through the Salvation Army.
