Christina Lynn, 78, of Bella Vista passed away Sept. 19, 2017, at Circle of Life Legacy Village in Bentonvill­e, Ark. Christina was born in Koblenz, Germany on June 2, 1939 and is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her husband William of 58 years, daughter Teresa, son John (Camille), son Michael (Susan), son Patrick (Kelly), 10 grandkids and one great-grandchild.

A Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. and Mass of the Resurrecti­on will follow at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 27 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Bella Vista, Ark. Arrangemen­ts by Bella Vista Funeral Home. Online condolence­s may be made at www.funeralmat­ion.com.

Kathryn Yvonne “Kathy” Mayhue,

of Fayettevil­le, died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017 near Mountain View. She was born May 24, 1960 in Cleburne, Texas. Kathy was an adventurou­s and respected nature photograph­er capturing the beauty of the world through her lens. She also enjoyed time in the outdoors including hiking and fishing. She was very involved with events at Hobbs State Park and was a founding member of the Friends of Hobbs. Kathy was dedicated to her family. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Above all she loved and followed Jesus. She lived by the standard of “if what you see by the eye doesn’t please you, then close your eyes and see from your heart because the heart can see beauty and love more than the eyes could ever wonder.”

Kathy is survived by her husband, David Mayhue, of the home; one son, Jonathon Mayhue and wife Amanda, and their children, Magnus and Atticus, of Vasteras, Sweden; her parents Roger and Beulah Marvin of Springdale; and two sisters, Bonita Harding of O’Brien, Ore., and Laura Nave of Springdale.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday,

Sept. 27, at Keypoint Church Springdale campus. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, at the Hobbs State Park Visitor’s Center with a reception to follow. Burial will be at 3 p.m. at Bluff Cemetery for family and close friends.

David Hurlbut Brakebill,

79, of Parkerfiel­d, Kan., died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonvill­e, Ark. David was born Jan. 29, 1938, in Denver, Colo., to Quintin and Dorothy (Hurlbut) Brakebill. He graduated from North High school in Wichita, Kan., in 1956. David married Mary Virginia “Ginger” Pearce on Sept. 4, 1959 at the Westlink Methodist Church of Wichita. The couple made their home in Wichita before moving to Arkansas City in 1979.

David served in the Air National Guard of Kansas and the Reserve of the United States Air Force. He was a past President of the West Wichita Civitan Club, a Royal Arch Mason, and belonged to the Internatio­nal Brotherhoo­d of Electrical Workers. He worked at Boeing prior to working for over 30 years with BNSF Railroad as a lineman, and later as an Engineer until his retirement. David loved fishing and boating on Grand Lake.

Survivors include a grandson, Jonathan Brakebill of Tulsa, Okla.; a granddaugh­ter, Rebekah Brakebill of Wichita, Kan.; a great-granddaugh­ter, Jaylynn Brakebill of Arkansas City, Kan.; a brother, Quintin W. Brakebill III of Bella Vista, Ark.; a sister, Sylvia Manley of Kansas City, Mo. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Virginia “Ginger” Pearce; his son, David Matthew Brakebill; his parents Quintin W. Brakebill, Jr. and Dorothy M. (Hurlbut) Brakebill.

A memorial service will be held at Highlands UMC in Bella Vista, on Monday at 6 p.m. Services pending in Arkansas City, Kan. Memorials may be made to Highlands Church, 371 Glasgow Rd., Bella Vista, Ark.
