Fire Prevention Week
Gary Hull, chief of the Nob Hill Fire Department, describes the uses for a thermal imaging camera Wednesday to second-graders in Jessica Breshears’ class at Sonora Elementary School. Hull, Tyler McCartney, assistant fire marshal with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Will Hewat, assisting the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Fire Marshal Division, were visiting the school promoting Fire Prevention Week and teaching children fire prevention and safety. The students participated in a virtual fire safety drill, experienced the Fire Prevention and Life Safety Trailer and toured the Nob Hill Fire Department Heavy Rescue unit.
