Kai Drachenberg (left), his brother Bryce and dog Suki, are greeted Wednesday by Danielle Thompson with Fayetteville’s Community Resources Division in the crosswalk at Block and Center streets in downtown Fayetteville. Thompson was participating with city and school officials and employees throughout the city bringing attention to Crosswalk Safety Awareness Day. Fayetteville’s event is sponsored by the Community Policing Division of the Police Department.
