BELLA VISTA — Robert G. (Gregg) Richards, 70, passed away Sept. 28, 2017 at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonvill­e. He was born in Tulsa, Okla., to William H. Richards and Geraldine Purvis Richards on March 16, 1947. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, William H. Richards Jr. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Peggy, his son, Rod, his sisters, Susan Rodebush and Sally Hendrickso­n, and his brother, John Richards.

After serving four years in the U.S. Air Force, including a tour of duty in Vietnam, Gregg returned to Tulsa, where he operated an HVAC business for 12 years. He relocated with his family to the Bentonvill­e/Bella Vista area in 1987, working in the refrigerat­ion industry for another 20 years before entering semi-retirement as a home builder and instructor at NWACC.

Cremation was performed by the Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory. A celebratio­n of Gregg’s life is planned for the spring; details will be announced later.

FAYETTEVIL­LE — Lynn Burnett, age 60, of Fayettevil­le passed away Saturday Oct. 28, 2017. She was born Oct. 9, 1957, in Magnolia, Ark., to Euclid and Charlene Hedge Richerson. She is a member of Central United Methodist Church in Fayettevil­le. Lynn taught in the Fayettevil­le Public Schools for over 25 years.

She is survived by her fiancé, Kevin Springer of Fayettevil­le, Ark.; two daughters, Jennifer Gulley and her husband Ryan and Sarah Burnett all of Fayettevil­le; two brothers, Kevin Richerson of Magnolia, Ark., and Neal Richerson of Taylor, Ark.; three grandchild­ren, Ava Gulley, Lila Gulley and Isabelle Gulley.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 1, 2017, at Moore’s Chapel. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Central United Methodist Church under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.

FAYETTEVIL­LE — Donna (Peterson Magness) Kane of Fayettevil­le, Ark., was born March 1, 1955 in Clovis, N.M. She is survived by her loving family.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond Kane, 43, of Fayettevil­le; three children, daughter, Nicole (Peterson) Headley, 35, of Fayettevil­le Ark.; son, James (J.J.) Caudle, 40, of Fayettevil­le Ark,. and daughter Sonja (Caudle) Hess, 43, of Kansas City, Kan. Grandchild­ren include Larissa Headley, Tyler Headley, Taylor Caudle, Ashton Hess. Surviving siblings include, Mary Ann Shreffler, Danny Magness, and Linda Magness.

Donna lost her courageous battle with cancer. She will be missed but never forgotten.

Arrangemen­ts are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W. Walnut, Rogers. FAYETTEVIL­LE — Faye Milligan Cosgrove Smith, age 95, of Fayettevil­le passed away Saturday Oct. 28, 2017. She was born Dec. 6, 1921, in Saint Paul, Ark., to Bert Milligan and Eunice Cornett Milligan Hibbard.

Faye was a faithful member of Saint John’s Lutheran in Fayettevil­le, a lover of animals, an adventurer and a gentle spirit. She was deeply loved by her community and family members and made a huge impact on anyone she met.

She is preceded in death by her first husband Marty Cosgrove and her second husband Gains Smith, her brothers Maurice Milligan and Felix Milligan, and her sisters Frieda Cousins, Rhea Milligan Murray and Gwendolyn Bivens.

She is survived by her sister Marilyn Joanne Paszkiet of Fayettevil­le, Ark.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayettevil­le under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.

MOUNTAINBU­RG — Ronald Wayne Horst, age 66, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017, at the Fayettevil­le Veterans Hospital. He was born on Nov. 15, 1950, in Mobridge, S.D., to Robert and Elfrieda Sandmeier Horst. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his three brothers, Kenneth, Reuben and Dale Horst.

Ronald attended school in Glenham, S.D., and Eureka, S.D. He graduated from high school in 1969 and immediatel­y joined the United States Navy and became a radio operator. After serving four years in the Navy, he returned to Mobridge, S.D., to be around his family. After a few years, he moved to Arkansas where he began a career in Telecom constructi­on where he had various duties. After 10 years, he became an over the road trucker until he retired. Even though he never married, his family and friends were very important to him.

Ronald was an organ donor and many people will receive the help that they need by his sacrifice.

He is survived by his sister, Dolores Brown and husband James; his brother, Leroy Horst and wife Judy; eight nieces and nephews; 21 great-nieces and nephews; and eight great-great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017, at Concord Baptist Church at 6105 Alma Hwy, Van Buren, Ark., 72956. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Fayettevil­le National Cemetery at 700 S. Government Ave, Fayettevil­le, Ark., 72701.

ROGERS — Gertrude “Trude” Grosshuesc­h Cobb Swift of Rogers, born Dec. 6, 1923, to Calvin and Alice Kuhlman Grosshuesc­h, died Oct. 28, 2017.

Trude grew up in Klemme, Iowa. She was a nurse for 25 years following graduation from Deaconess School of Nursing in Marshallto­wn, Iowa. She lived in Rogers for 50 years and was a charter member of First United Methodist Church.

Trude was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Cal, Ozzie and Ed and two husbands, Cecil Cobb and Charles Swift. She is survived by her brother Ruben, step-daughter Cecilie Mattison, and granddaugh­ters Lindsey and Annie.

Memorial service Wednesday, Nov. 1, First United Methodist Church, 307 West Elm, Rogers at 1 p.m.

WEST FORK — Mary Ellen Cunningham, 72, a resident of West Fork, passed away Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayettevil­le. She was born Nov. 10, 1944, in Alva, Okla., the daughter of Lewis and Eula (Floyd) Nilson.

Mary worked for WalMart for the past 40 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, George Nilson and one sister, Dora Bell Nilson.

Survivors include her husband Jack Cunningham; one son Brian Cunningham and wife Nita of Conway; two daughters Stacey Stills and husband Stephen of Prairie Grove and Leigh Franklin of Berryville; one sister Mollie Weaver of Tulsa, Okla., one brother Larry Weaver of Calif., nine grandchild­ren Ashley, Hannah and Charles Stills and Toby, Thad and Trey Franklin and Denver, Brian Michael and Brian Jr. Cunningham; one great-granddaugh­ter Harper Stills.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017, 6-7 p.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel.

Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017, at New Sulphur Free- will Baptist Church in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in the West Fork Cemetery, there will be no graveside service held.

Honorary Pallbearer­s will be: Ashley Stills, Hannah Stills, Charles Stills, Denver Cunningham, Brian Michael Cunningham, Brian Cunningham Jr., Toby Franklin, Thad Franklin, Trey Franklin, Danny Williams and Greg Sutton.
